Below you will find newspaper clippings from around the United States between 1930-1968, with a focus on Miami which tended to reflect the current U.S. market on housing for Blacks. You'll notice many areas routinely have "negro housing" crises every few years due to the amount of Black families who were in desperate need of housing. You will also routinely see proposed developments moved due to 'location cost' which was usually grossly inflated to keep Blacks away from areas near whites.
